Campus Tour

Your experience at Clarkson College begins here

Part of deciding where to go to college is being able to envision yourself there as a student. Here at Clarkson College, we're a tight-knit community. In a single-block radius, we provide our students with a quality educational experience that gives them a sense of belonging and purpose.

Our classrooms, Skills and Simulation Labs, Library, Admissions and Financial Aid offices, Student Center and Residence Hall all have their place on campus without one taking over the other. You can take a glimpse into each right here. If you like what you see, we're happy to lead you through a personal tour to help determine if your next visit to campus will be on your first day as a new student.

Heritage Garden & Courtyard

Heritage Garden & Courtyard

In 2006, the Clarkson Service League, a volunteer committee that served under our educational partner, The Nebraska Medical Center, made a gracious endowment to Clarkson College. The donation funded the construction of the Heritage Garden— a place on campus where members of our community can show their honor and appreciation for dignitaries and loved ones through the dedication of bricks, boulders and amphitheater seats.

Surrounding the Heritage Garden is the Courtyard—the center hub of our campus. Students fill the green for annual activities like Welcome Week, the College World Series Cookout and the Student Government Association BBQ. On less action-packed days, students can be found in the Courtyard studying, socializing or throwing a Frisbee.

Student Services Suite

Student Services Suite

During your daily jaunt to class, you're sure to pass by the Student Services Suite—a one-stop shop for all things relating to admissions, registration, financial aid and more. Its convenient location on the first floor of our main building makes it easy to access when you need to make a change to your course schedule, discuss your financial aid options or speak with an Admissions Advisor.

Clarkson Service League Library

Clarkson Service League Library

The recently renovated Clarkson Service League Library comes equipped with private study areas, an updated book collection, full-text journals and online databases. Just as important, our friendly Library staff is available to help you navigate the shelves and digital archives so you can find what you need without difficulty.

Additionally, we offer an on-campus Skills Lab designed specifically for our Nursing students to practice basic bedside care and treatments patients commonly receive in the health care setting.

Radiologic Technology Lab

Before setting foot into the clinical setting, Clarkson College Radiologic Technology (RT) students receive considerable hands-on training right here on campus. Our energized lab gives students the opportunity to develop skills in imaging anatomical structures and to perform exposure experiments on phantoms that allow them to assess equipment operation and radiographic techniques. In the radiographic and fluoroscopic room, students can watch static film in real-time. They also practice on the C-arm, a mobile X-ray unit, and a mammography machine.

Student Center & Bookstore

Before, after and in between classes, students make their way to the Student Center. Many grab a bite to eat from one of our food vendors; others head to the Community Lounge where they can study, use a computer or sneak in a little TV.

Also housed within the Student Center is the Bookstore. Aside from purchasing the obvious textbooks, students frequent the Bookstore for its assortment of snacks, supplies and Clarkson College gear.

Talk about event central–there's always something taking place in Howard Hall. Located on the upper level of the Student Center, Howard Hall hosts Movie Nights, Coffeehouse Lunches, Casino Night, Spring Fever, "Thinkfast" Game Show, intramural volleyball, yoga, Pilates, guest lectures and much more. On the contrary, Howard Hall is also used as a popular study space on the quieter, less eventful days.
