At Clarkson College, our Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Administration and Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Health Information Administration programs are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM). Both programs are offered 100 percent online and prepare you to sit for the national registry exam prior to graduating. With your RHIA certification, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of acute-care, educational, business and legal settings, such as hospitals, outpatient clinics, government agencies and private industries.
The Clarkson College Post-Baccalaureate certificate in Health Information Administration program is designed for individuals who have previously earned a Bachelor's degree from another accredited institution. Courses are offered 100 percent online and on a full- or part-time basis. The program accepts general education transfer credits, allowing you to earn your certificate in as few as four semesters.
The Clarkson College Bachelor of Science in Health Information Administration program is designed for first-time college students or individuals who have not earned a Bachelor’s degree. Courses are offered 100 percent online and on a full- or part-time basis. If you have previously attended an accredited college or university, you may be able to transfer in relevant credit hours, allowing you to complete your degree in an accelerated format.
