Imaging Informatics

A career as a specialist in Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS) begins with an Imaging Informatics Certificate from Clarkson College. A relatively new and progressive field within radiology, imaging informatics aims to improve the efficiency, accuracy, usability and reliability of medical imaging services within the health care enterprise.

Available through the Medical Imaging program, this option can be completed as an interactive correspondence course, using state-of-the-art technologies including:

Externships are not required for this program and may not be available in all states. Please contact the Admissions Office prior to applying if you plan to complete an externship as part of the program.
