The online 21-credit hour Clarkson College Women’s Health certificate program focuses on the psychological, social, and behavioral influences, along with the social, political, cultural and geographical factors that affect women. Special topics, such as mammography, pharmacology, and preventative and restorative issues are also discussed.

Courses for the Women’s Health certificate are offered year-round and on a part- or full-time basis. Students entering the program with little or no college experience may complete their prerequisite courses at Clarkson College.

Upon completing the certificate in Women’s health program, graduates will be prepared to work effectively with the female population in a variety of health care, public health, and human services setting.
