Bachelor of Science in Medical Imaging

Medical Imaging Program

Students and professionals in the radiography field have an opportunity to advance their careers by earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Imaging from Clarkson College.

The Clarkson College online Medical Imaging (MI) program is designed for students who hold or are in the process of earning primary pathway certification in radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Courses and X-ray training prepare students for post-primary certification in specialized modalities like computed tomography (CT), magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), angiography/interventional procedures (CI/VI), mammography (M), quality control (QC), bone densitometry (BD) and imaging informatics (SIMM/PARCA). The Medical Imaging program includes an externship component where students complete a specified set of clinical requirements outlined by the ARRT. By fulfilling the requirements, you will be eligible for post-primary certification in your desired discipline(s).
