Graduation Information
Congratulations on your upcoming graduation! You are no doubt anticipating this milestone of achievement in your life. The goal of our graduation ceremony is to honor your achievement by putting you at the center of the event.
Graduation Applications
In order to graduate, a graduation application must be filled out and returned to the Registrar’s office. It is suggested that students request a graduation audit at least two semesters prior to graduation. The applicant's coursework will be audited and a written notification of any remaining coursework will be mailed to the student.

Summer 2013 Graduation Ceremony
| Date: | Saturday, Aug. 3 at 10 a.m. |
| Location: | LaVista Conference Center, Embassy Suites Hotel (12520 Westport Parkway). Enter the LaVista Conference Center. Graduation will be held in the Windsor Ballroom. |
| Parking: | Parking is available in the lots adjacent to the hotel. |
| Students: | Arrive at 9 a.m. and be in cap and gown by 9:15 a.m. Do not leave personal belongings in the dressing rooms. |
| Reception: | A reception consisting of brownies and punch will be held immediately following the graduation ceremony. |
Student Rehearsal
| Date: | Thursday, Aug. 1 at 10 a.m. |
| Location: | Howard Hall, Clarkson College |
You may pick up your cap and gown after a brief rehearsal. If you are unable to attend rehearsal, your cap and gown will be available Saturday, Aug. 3 after 9 a.m. at the LaVista Conference Center.

Master's degree students are hooded at the graduation ceremony. If you would like to purchase a hood, call Graduation Supplies at 402.991.5040.
Order Deadline
Tuesday, June 21. Orders will NOT be accepted after June 21 deadline. If you do not rent a cap/gown you will not be allowed to participate in the ceremony.
How to Place a Rental Order
Payment is due when your order is placed.
| In Person: | Order at the Bookstore during regular business hours. |
| By Phone: | PH 402.552.2737 TF 800.647.5500. Be prepared to provide your height and chest size when placing an order via phone. |
| Rental Returns: | All rental gowns and master’s hoods are to be returned at the LaVista Conference Center immediately following the graduation ceremony. The cap and tassel are yours to keep. |
Graduation Announcements
Personalized announcements may be purchased through Graduation Supplies, Inc.
Graduation Pins
Baccalaureate Nursing graduates may purchase traditional nursing pins through the Clarkson College Bookstore.
