Omicron Epsilon

The mission of the Omicron Epsilon chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International is to support the learning, knowledge and professional development of nurses committed to making a difference in a healthy community. Our vision is to create a community of nurses who lead in using knowledge, scholarship, service and learning to improve the health of the community.

Omicron Epsilon was chartered on April 4, 1998 with 20 dual and transfer members and 160 charter members. Clarkson College was interested in having an honor society in nursing that would recognize those who had demonstrated superior academic performance and who had distinguished themselves as clinical scholars and leaders. The Clarkson College Omicron Epsilon chapter has been the recipient of the Chapter Key Award in 1999, 2001, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013, 2015 and 2017.
