Clarkson College has not always been a college. Instead, we began in 1888 as a school of nursing—the first in the state of Nebraska. Over the last 125 years, we've established a new campus, expanded our program offerings and adopted a new name. All the while, we've maintained a commitment to preparing our students to be the best in various realms of health care. Our Basic Life Support, Medication and Nurse Aide courses can help individuals getting certified for the first time or needing renewal. Life Support and CPR Courses

Clarkson College Life Support courses include BLS, ACLS, PALS certification and renewal, Heartsaver CPR AED, and Heartsaver Pediatric First Aid CPR AED. These programs are designed for healthcare professionals, childcare providers, and anyone interested in life-saving skills.

CPR and Life Support Courses
BLS (Basic Life Support) for Health Care Providers Course	Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare professionals trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality CPR, deliver appropriate ventilations, and provide early use of an AED.	$80
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Course	ACLS is an advanced course that builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR, and high-performance team dynamics.	Initial $255 Renewal $185
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Course	Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) uses a series of videos and simulated pediatric emergencies to reinforce the important concepts of a systematic approach to pediatric assessment, basic life support, PALS treatment algorithms, effective resuscitation, and team dynamics. Heartsaver CPR AED Course (Online & Testing)	These courses train anyone with little or no medical training to provide first aid, CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely and effective manner.	$60
