I am pleased to announce that Clarkson College has filled the position of interim president.

Gary Pack, Ed.D. will be assuming his duties approximately June 2, 2021.

Dr. Pack recently served as president of The Christ College of Nursing and Health Sciences in Cincinnati, Ohio from 2014-2018. He has an extensive background in education leadership at various levels and a proven dedication to students, employees and each institution’s mission.

Although there has been a change in the president, the goals of the Board of Directors remain the same. Among these goals, our priorities are:

  • To prepare students to professionally provide high quality, ethical and compassionate health care services.
  • To make Clarkson College the preferred educator in the region graduating knowledgeable, skilled, and morally grounded health care professionals.
  • To establish an environment that prepares the entire College community including leadership, faculty, staff members, and students to make decisions that will assure College sustainability in the future.
  • To provide leadership and ensure that students have a positive experience at Clarkson College.

It is our sincere hope that you all will be as impressed and excited to work with Dr. Pack as we are. Please join me in welcoming Dr. Pack to Omaha and the Clarkson College family.

Steven B. Black, M.D.
Chairman, Clarkson College Board of Directors
