Clarkson College continues to monitor the COVID-19 pandemic in our community along with our educational partner, Nebraska Medicine, and colleagues at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC). In response to COVID-19, we continue to promote a safe and healthy campus for students, faculty, staff and visitors of Clarkson College.
Fall 2022: Please continue to check this webpage as well as your email as information becomes available. Review Our Plan Ahead to Fall 2022.
By coming to campus, you acknowledge that you have answered the Daily Self-monitoring Questions confirming you have no symptoms of COVID-19.
Self-Monitoring Questions:
When coming to campus, ask yourself the following questions.
- Regardless of vaccination status, do you have any of the following symptoms that are new: a fever of 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit or higher, chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, new loss of taste or smell, nausea/vomiting or diarrhea, muscle or body aches, fatigue, headache, sore throat, congestion, or runny nose?
If you answer “yes”, to the above question, please stay home, contact your health care provider and program director, and complete the Student or Employee Self-quarantine form on the Clarkson College website.
- Have you come into close contact (within 6 feet for more than 15 minutes) with someone who has a laboratory confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis in the past 14 days, where you were not wearing a mask?
If you answer “yes”, to the above question, you may return to campus, but please continue to monitor for symptoms and complete the Student or Employee Self-quarantine form on the Clarkson College website.
Masks are optional on the Clarkson College campus. Mask may be worn per your comfort level. We encourage everyone to avoid crowds and poorly ventilated spaces, cover coughs and sneezes, wash hands often, follow CDC travel guidance and the requirements of the College health and safety office, and continue to follow any applicable workplace or clinical agency guidance, including guidance related to personal protective equipment use or SARS-CoV-2 testing.
We are aware that some agencies may not use the same protocol, and we will make updates when more information is available.
Thank you for your continued dedication to maintaining a safe and healthy campus and College community. We look forward to seeing you soon
